Meet the band
Larry Oxley is a Portland native, and his first harmonica teacher was local legend Paul Delay. His previous bands include the Portland Playboys, Catfish and Eric Hatcher and the Workerbees. He has performed four times at the Waterfront Blues Festival.
Arlo Leach comes from Iowa via Chicago, where he taught at the Old Town School of Folk Music and led fundraisers to buy gravestones for pre-war blues artists Will Shade, Joe McCoy and Charlie McCoy. In 2010, he was inducted into the Jug Band Hall of Fame.
Aaron Koch grew up on the Oregon coast. He plays a vintage washboard inherited from his great-grandmother, and impresses Arlo and Larry by bicycling to each show with it strapped across his back. Aaron previously played washboard with Hot Milk.
